DIP (Drug Intervention Programme Provides a range of services to people over 18 affected by drug and alcohol use. Referrals can be made in person or by other professionals 

  • Access to rapid prescribing – On-site substitute prescribing 5 days a week. Community prescribing also available.

          Needle exchange - provides a comprehensive range of resources such as needles, stericups, citric acid, vitamin C, condoms, swabs, sharps bins, harm minimisation DVDs, large selection of leaflets.        

  Direct Access (appointement with drug worker for refferal into services) - Shelford House -  Mon – Fri   9.00 am - 4.00 pm       

   Outreach service  – Tue and Thurs 5 pm – 9 pm      

Full-time nurse on site – blood borne virus advice, information testing, counselling, Hep A and B immunisation. Post test support for hepatits C anti body positive clients and supported referral into hepatology services. Point of contact for general health information, eg diet, nutrition and alcohol etc.  

Basic wound assesment and temporary dressings/care, harm reduction advice. Sexual and reproductive health advice and supported referral into specialist services. Pregnancy testing, chlamydia screening aged16-25 yrs.

ADDACTION Provides treatment services to offenders sentenced to a Drug Treatment and Testing Order, in partnership with the National Probation Service, in North and North-East Lincolnshire.

PPOs (Prolific and Priority Offenders) Support and encouragement for repeat offenders to address their behaviour

Appointment only drug and alcohol service for adults (over 18yrs) (provided jointly by the Alcohol and Drug Service (ADS) and the Doncaster and South Humber Health Authority)

Specialised treatment  service focusing on clients with complex needs and high frequency appointments.

DELTA  (Drug Education Liaison Treatment Agency) Oswald Hse, Oswald rd Scunthorpe Free and confidential help and support for young people under 19 years, who are worried about their own or someone else’s substance use. The service offers clear up-to-date information about drugs, alcohol and solvent use. Proffesional or self refferal by Tel. 07940166202  or 01724 294503

 CONNEXIONS  Information and advice for young people aged 13-19 yrs. This service is for young people primarily but also open to parents/carers/partners/other family members Specialist Substance Misuse Adviser Polly Frow. Polly can provide information and support for parents who have suspicions over young people using drugs. Concerns and suspicions are for referral to Polly Frow  Conexions Oswald rd Scunthorpe Polly has a drop in every Tuesday afternoon. 1:00 - 3:30p.m. Parents can see Polly for more in depth advice, guidance & support plus signposting to other agencies.
